Most people suffer from some form of functional disturbance. A functional disturbance occurs when no specific organ damage or weakness can be identified by conventional means such as lab work, x-rays, or pathological diagnostics, yet symptoms are experienced. Health and vitality cannot be completely restored until regulatory disturbances are uncovered.

Disease does not begin with pathology but rather with a preclinical phase. Disturbances occur when a living organism can no longer compensate for changes resulting from both internal conditions of the body and external circumstances.

Integrative Health Group plays a valuable role in detecting and identifying disturbances at the very beginning of a preclinical phase of imbalance when a patient is distressed with symptoms but conventional identification of the cause has not been determined.

At the same time, even after disease and degeneration have begun, resolution and reversal are accomplished using the same fundamental principle: Provide the body tools in the form of nutrients that it is missing, and it will get well.
